Practical information about housing
Here, you will find all the necessary practical information for your tenancy at BSN. This includes guidelines for moving in and out, house rules, and maintenance of the apartment. You will also find information on handling emergencies, how to contact maintenance services, and the use of common areas and facilities. To ensure a smooth experience as a resident, we recommend reading through these points carefully.
Keys
Upon check-in, you should have received a personal key fob for your apartment. The mailbox key is pre-installed in your room. Important note on door locks: Always take your key fob with you when you leave your room. Using the fob twice on the lock will engage the auto-lock feature, and you risk being locked out.
Issues or Defects in the Apartment?
The apartment should have been pre-checked by BSN, but if there are any issues or if something is missing from the inventory list, you must create a maintenance order on your page at Hybel.no.
Waste Disposal
BSN has waste chutes located at the main entrance. There is also a larger waste room at the back of Block B. Residents are responsible for proper waste disposal. It is not allowed to leave garbage, cardboard, furniture, etc., in corridors, stairwells, or on the ground around the waste facilities. This is considered a breach of the lease agreement, and the cost of removal will be charged to the tenant. In the rare event of a waste system stoppage, contact BSN and store your waste until the issue is resolved.
Home Insurance
BSN’s insurance only covers the building and BSN-owned inventory. In case of fire, water damage, etc., you are responsible for insuring your belongings. If many units are affected by an incident
