Tenants moving out this summer with contracts ending July 31st will check-out by leaving their key in a “move-out” envelope in  BSNs mailbox. This is located outisde the office in building A. BSN will not offer joint inspections with the tenant and BSN representative.

You will find envelopes by the entrances or in the reception, in both Norwegian and English. On the envelope you will find a checklist that you will have to complete. Leave roomkey and parking key if applicable in the envelope, and seal. Make sure that all items on the list is completed thoroughly to avoid cleaning charges.

If there are any damages to the apartment please make a maintenance request in hybel.no.

The process of calculating your final settlement including electricity will start as soon as you hand over your key. Your deposit can then be returned to you.

Your room must be handed over no later than 12:00 on the last day of your contract July 31st.

 

If room is not cleaned according to contract:

If you follow the check-ist and do a thorough job on each item on the list, you will not have to worry about cleaning charges. However, if you skip items on the list or do not clean at all BSN will have to order clean out at your expense. In the case of small items missed we will use in house cleaners and charge hourly. If they are not available or the job is larger, we will use an outside company.

Rates from REAL facility services:

Studio: NOK 4 250,-

Double: NOK 4 250,- 1 bedroom, NOK 5 250,- 2 bedrooms.

4-room: NOK 6 250,- 1 bedroom, NOK 6750,- 2 bedrooms.

Family/ couples: NOK 5 250,-

Additionally, you will be charged for rent compensation if room cannot be ready within your contract period. Usually there is a 1 week booking period. This means that if you turn in keys to room not cleaned after July 24th you should expect about 1 weeks rent in addition to the cleaning cost.

Vi urge all tenants to clean the apartments thoroughly by using the checklist. If you for some reason are not able to clean, please contact BSN about this immediately. You are also welcome to find your own cleaning company.

DO NOT hand over your apartments the last days of July without proper cleaning. BSN will not be able to have the room ready for the next tenant. This will be considered a violation of your housing contract and all costs associated with this will fall on you.
